Last week Ryan joined Rachel from our Plymouth team and made a visit to London, Harwich and Brightlingsea.

Our London visit was to meet some of the existing apprentices who are working their way through the Boatmaster Apprenticeship, followed by a meeting at Waterman's Hall where we met the employers who operate on the Thames as well as the Thames Skills Academy. It was nice to hear of the challenges that the river community face, and we left with lots of solutions how we can support their needs.

The following day we visited Harwich Haven Port Authority where we toured their facilities and meet existing and former apprentices.
