RIB Rendezvous 2026
SeaRegs is delighted to be a major sponsor for the 2026 RIB Rendezvous on the west coast of Scotland.
The Rib Rendezvous sprang from an idea by Tony & Jess Hill, owners of Seafari Adventures, a 5-star marine wildlife adventure tour company based on Easdale Island in 2010. SeaRegs (formerly iPowerboat Ltd) has trained lots of Seafari skippers and crew over the years.
It has grown into the largest RIB gathering in the UK with over 250 RIBS now booked for 2026.
It is organised and run by a small group of volunteers, supported by incredible sponsors, event partners and lots of useful hands on the actual weekend!
We are delighted to have been asked to be a lead vessel, and will be using our Redbay Stormforce 7.4 RIB to facilitate this.
Plans for Saturday remain the circumnavigation of Mull, clockwise this year, with various points of interest en route which you can visit including Staffa and Fingal’s cave, Iona Abbey, and the incredible beaches at David Balfour’s bay and Tinkers hole. If that’s too ambitious for some, a shorter route via the Sound of Mull to Tobermory, with an optional diversion from into Loch Sunart. As ever, wind strength and direction will dictate the final plan on the day.
We aim to have the fleet back together in Tobermory for circa 1pm.
Saturday evening at Kerrera Marina! Details will follow, but it’ll go along the lines of festival food stalls, live band and plenty of craic. The live band will be kindly laid on by Gill and Tim from the Marina.
Sunday. Plans for a trip south on the second day. We intent to take in the grey dogs, and of course the legendary Corryvreckan.
As in previous years, informal small cruises can be instigated using the WhatsApp group which will be open to all from the Friday morning for some shakedown cruises and exploring the area. Those new to area, just ask the organisers or regulars for tips and advice etc. About 75% of the 79 boats have joined the WhatsApp group, and we advise everyone to do so. It’s an extra layer of comms for general info and safety. Email will be used, but clearly patchy signals . VHF (channel TBC) will be used, but again that’s not ideal if you’re out of range, or ashore with no hand held VHF etc.

For some the Bank holiday Monday is another boating opportunity, last year a few of us had a great afternoon at Balfours bay on the Ross of Mull. One nutter even went solo to Ballycastle for a Guinness.. mentioning no names.
